In this role you’ll be responsible for developing and executing customer acquisition campaigns. The channels will be varied – from paid performance to offline events – but your goal is to bring in high quality leads who will eventually become customers. Your love of data and relentless drive to achieve results means you’ll constantly look for actionable insights to optimise the campaigns. This is a regional role (across Singapore, Hong Kong, and Malaysia) and reports into the Marketing Manager. 


Key Responsibilities  

  • Own and manage B2B and B2C acquisition campaigns from start to finish. This includes, but is not limited to, online lead generation through paid channels such as Facebook and Google, (paid) partnerships, online/offline events etc 
  • Manage the relationship with the media agency to ensure campaigns are developed and executed in a timely manner, within budget, and return a positive ROI 
  • Have a clear understanding of CardUp’s value proposition and different audience segments to develop strategies that are customized and targeted 
  • Take ownership of the first stage in the customer funnel (acquisition) but work closely with other team members on the entire journey (activation and retention). 
  • Develop the creative and messaging for all acquisition tactics, including digital ads, website landing pages and offline materials. Be a brand guardian ensuring consistent look and feel / tone of voice across all tactics. 
  • Balance business-as-usual acquisition strategies with experimental tactics, running A/B tests and testing hypotheses.  
  • Undertake regular reporting, analysis and optimisation based on cost and ROI 
  • Establish a strong cross-functional relationships, including with sales, product, and business development teams.  



  • Be based in Malaysia with prior in-market experience 
  • Preferably 2-3 years of experience in a B2B marketing related field 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business preferred   
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills   
  • Analytical and metrics-driven   
  • Experience in creating and executing marketing campaign from scratch 
  • Experience in using CRM and paid performance tools. Prior experience using HubSpot is a plus 
  • Possess an eye for design and flair for writing 
  • Team player - no politics!    
  • Flexible and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment 
  • Demonstrated ability to be resourceful in the face of obstacles, proactive problem solver    
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and quality   
  • Experience in payments or credit/lending industry is a plus
