Own day-to-day compliance tasks, review customer onboarding documents, transaction monitoring red flags or other processes related to mitigating fraud or financial crime.

Conduct investigations and escalation of suspicious activity to the Compliance Manager, suggesting the course of action to be taken. File Suspicious Transactions Report with the regulator when appropriate.

Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, and product to continue to question the status quo, and find better ways to improve customer experience, while staying compliant.

Input into and help develop company risk management policies and procedures and help running companywide training to ensure the information is communicated and continuously adhered to.

Keep informed regarding pending industry changes, trends and best practices and assess the potential impact of these changes on organisational processes.

3+ years of compliance and KYC experience, ideally in roles with AML / CTF exposure

Experience in an international and English-speaking environment

Experience in a regulated financial institution of a FinTech company or Financial Institution

Compliance certification is a plus (ACAMS/ICA)

Proven track record to show strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage time, prioritise and complete tasks with tight deadlines

Critical mindset, curious and problem-solving attitude

Sound judgment and strong sense of ethics

Excellent communication skills and ability to simply explain complex situations in English and Chinese (a plus)

Hands-on attitude and ability to handle multiple priorities and manage various stakeholders without compromising on quality
