Terms and Conditions for Promo Codes for American Express Card Members  for Tax Payments ("Promotion")

Eligibility to utilise the New User Promo Code "AMEXNEWTAX":

  1. Eligible American Express Card Members (“New Users”) are eligible to enjoy the 2.2% discounted fee on the first income tax payment of minimum S$1,000 when the following are met:
    • Must be a new personal CardUp account user.
    • Make payment using a personal Basic and/or Supplementary American Express® Card (“Eligible Card”) issued by American Express International Inc. in Singapore (excluding American Express Corporate Card, American Express Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card and American Express Cards issued by DBS Bank Limited and United Overseas Bank Limited.).

  2. The promo code is only valid on income tax payment scheduled on CardUp between 1 May 2021 and 24 August 2021, both dates inclusive. To enjoy the 2.2% discounted fee, the payment due date must be between 1 May 2021 and 7 September 2021, both dates inclusive. The payment due date is the last date on which the payment must arrive at the recipient. Payment must be scheduled on CardUp at least 3 business days in advance of the due date to allow for processing time.

  3. New Users have to enter the New User Promo Code ‘AMEXNEWTAX’ during the “Schedule payment” process when setting up payment details. The 2.2% discounted fee for the eligible payment amount will be reflected before the New User confirms and submits payment.

  4. Promo code may only be redeemed once per New User on their first payment on CardUp.

  5. Limited to first 80 New Users who use the New User Promo Code.

Eligibility to utilise the Existing User Promo Code "AMEXTAX":

  1. Eligible American Express Card Members (“Existing Users”) are eligible to enjoy the 2.4% discounted fee on a single income tax payment of minimum S$1,000 when the following are met:
    • Must be an existing personal CardUp account user.
    • Make payment using a personal Basic and/or Supplementary American Express® Card (“Eligible Card”) issued by American Express International Inc. in Singapore (excluding American Express Corporate Card, American Express Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card and American Express Cards issued by DBS Bank Limited and United Overseas Bank Limited.).

  2. The promo code is only valid on income tax payment scheduled on CardUp between 1 May 2021 and 24 August 2021, both dates inclusive. American Express Terms & Conditions:

  1. All Promo Codes are not eligible for use on payments made with American Express Cards not included in this campaign and credit cards issued outside of Singapore.

  2. All Promo Codes are not applicable for use on any additional fees incurred for Next Day payments.

  3. Offer is not applicable in conjunction with other offers, promotions and discounts, unless otherwise stated.

  4. Terms and Conditions for the American Express Membership Rewards programme and on earning KrisFlyer miles applies. For more details, please refer to amex.co/mrtncs or the individual Cards featured on amex.co/singaporeair.

  5. American Express International Inc. reserves the right at any time to withdraw or substitute the offer with other offer(s) without prior notice and without assigning any reason.

  6. American Express acts solely as a payment provider and is not responsible or liable in the event that the above described services, activities or benefits are not provided or fulfilled by CardUp. CardUp is solely responsible for the fulfillment of this Offer and all relevant privileges.

 

General Terms:

  1. CardUp reserves the right to terminate the Promotion, or to vary, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions from time to time at its absolute discretion (including without limitation the terms relating to the eligibility of any User and the dates of the Promotion).

  2. CardUp’s decision on all matters relating to this Promotion will be final, conclusive and binding on all Users, and no correspondence shall be entertained. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the Promotion, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.

  3. CardUp, its employees and campaign organisers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or any injury that may be sustained by the User or by any person in connection with the Promotion.

  4. The User acknowledges and agrees that the collection, use, storage and disclosure of his/her personal data shall be governed by the terms of CardUp’s Privacy Policy.

  5. The User acknowledges and agrees that, in addition to the above-mentioned terms, they must abide by the requirements of CardUp's general Terms of Service. 
  6. "CardUp" refers to CardUp Pte Limited, a company registered in Singapore.

  7. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Singapore law and each User irrevocably submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore in respect thereof. A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these Terms and Conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap.53B) to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions.
