Mission

As our Product Designer, you’ll help to drive our long-term product vision and lead the continuous improvement of our user experience for multi-product growth. You’ll work with our product team to research, design and ship new products, features and enhance the user experience of our existing products.

Key Responsibilities

  • You’ll work through design challenges from start to end, collaborating closely with product, sales, marketing, operations and engineering teams, translating strategy and insights into disruptive new products, features and user experiences
  • You leverage design thinking to its potential, conducting user research and uncovering insights we can apply to our business priorities, and then sketching, prototyping and testing ideas rapidly with end-users. 
  • You’ll produce interaction flows and hi-fi mocks that accurately communicate product functionality to product and engineering teams. 
  • You’ll plan and lead design reviews and share your work regularly. 
  • Shipping is just the beginning, and you’ll own the success of your designs in the market, learning from user feedback and analytics to optimise your products.

Requirements

  • >= 2 years of experience as a product designer, where you have shipped software products to market and iterated on them.
  • Bonus: You've worked in both consumer and B2B software domains with a focus on Product-led Growth, and have tackled complex product challenges with payments and finance workflows.
  • Expertise in modern design and prototyping tools like Figma, with a strong ability to learn new tools as needed.
  • Your high-fidelity UI is consistently polished and aesthetic, applying clear UX principles to ensure strong usability.
  • You’re strong in systems thinking, able to zoom out from UI to strategize in terms of business objectives, product workflows, constraints, users’ jobs-to-be-done, psychology and data. And zoom back in to design beautiful hi-fidelity software interfaces. 
  • You’re skilled in empathising and figuring out what it would be like to be in our users’ shoes. You proactively strengthen this empathy by conducting lean user research regularly and by being involved in customer meetings to glean actionable insights. 
  • You have a penchant for data, and are comfortable using analytics tools to assess the impact of your designs, test ideas, identify problem areas, experiment and learn 
  • You communicate openly and authentically and can clearly frame problems and justify design decisions. 
  • You manage your workload proactively and suggest solutions to re-align competing priorities. You're trusted by peers to ship quality work consistently and are a model for reliability. 
  • You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous problem spaces. 
  • Have a portfolio to showcase your design work, highlighting your UX process, UI skills, and clarity of your written communication.
