Terms and Conditions for Promo Codes for AMEX Campaign 2023 - 2024 ("Promotion")
Eligibility to utilise New User Promo Code "18AMEX"
• Must be a new personal CardUp account user.
• Make payment using a personal Basic and/or Supplementary American Express Card (“Eligible Card”) issued by American Express International Inc. in Singapore (excluding American Express® True Cashback Card, American Express® Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card, American Express® Corporate Card and American Express Cards issued by DBS Bank Limited and United Overseas Bank Limited.).
2. The prevailing 2.6% fee will be applied to the rest of the payment(s) should the amount exceed S$5,000.
3. The Offer is only valid for all applicable domestic payments scheduled on CardUp between 13 November 2023 and 11 February 2024 before 6pm (SGT), both dates inclusive.
4. The payment due date must be between 13 November 2023 and 15 February 2024, both dates inclusive. The payment due date is the last date on which the payment must arrive at the recipient. Payment must be scheduled on CardUp at least 3 business days in advance of the due date to allow for processing time.
5. New Users have to enter the promo code ‘18AMEX’ ("Promo Code") during the “Schedule payment” process when setting up payment details. The 1.8% discounted fee for the eligible payment amount will be reflected before the New User confirms and submits payment.
6. The Promo Code may only be redeemed once per New User on their first payment on CardUp.
7. Limited to first 200 New Users who use the Promo Code.
8. Promo Code is not valid to be used on:
(a) with American Express® Card not included in this campaign and credit cards issued outside of Singapore.
(b) on any additional fees incurred for Next Day payments.
(c) in conjunction with any other promotions, offers or discounts.
(d) on unsupported payment types
9. New Users are to refer to your individual Card Member Agreement Terms and Conditions for details on redemption of Membership Reward® points, KrisFlyer miles and STAR$®, respectively.
Eligibility to utilise Existing User Promo Code "19AMEX"
1. Eligible American Express® Card Members are eligible to enjoy the 1.9% discounted fee for their next payment with a maximum of S$5,000 when the following are met:
• Has an existing personal CardUp account (“Existing Users”)
• Make payment using a personal Basic and/or Supplementary American Express Card (“Eligible Card”) issued by American Express International Inc. in Singapore (excluding American Express® True Cashback Card, American Express® Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card, American Express® Corporate Card and American Express Cards issued by DBS Bank Limited and United Overseas Bank Limited.).

General Terms:
- CardUp reserves the right to terminate the Promotion, or to vary, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions from time to time at its absolute discretion (including without limitation the terms relating to the eligibility of any User and the dates of the Promotion).
- CardUp’s decision on all matters relating to this Promotion will be final, conclusive and binding on all Users, and no correspondence shall be entertained. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the Promotion, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.
- CardUp, its employees and campaign organisers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or any injury that may be sustained by the User or by any person in connection with the Promotion.
- The User acknowledges and agrees that the collection, use, storage and disclosure of his/her personal data shall be governed by the terms of CardUp’s Privacy Policy.
- The User acknowledges and agrees that, in addition to the above-mentioned terms, they must abide by the requirements of CardUp's general Terms of Service.
- "CardUp" refers to CardUp Pte Limited, a company registered in Singapore.
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Singapore law and each User irrevocably submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore in respect thereof. A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these Terms and Conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap.53B) to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions.
