Terms and Conditions for Collect Offer 2024
Credit card: 1% fee on the first S$5,000 payment collections
Eligibility to participate:
- CardUp users who have signed up for a business account and have never collected any payments before, or existing CardUp users who have been targeted by CardUp (“Business User”) are eligible to enjoy 1% fee for all credit card payment collections ("Offer"), in accordance with the following Terms & Conditions
- The Business User is an authorised person signing up on behalf of an active local company. A Company Registration number must be provided when setting up a business account
- The Business User must complete the CardUp Collect setup to enable payment collection via the platform ("Collector"). Once the set-up is approved, the Collector will be able to start collecting credit card payments via the payment link in the account
- The Offer will automatically be applied to the Collector account once the setup is fully verified and approved on or before 31 January 2025 ("Onboarded Date")
- The Offer is valid on payments collected via the Collector’s payment link as per the following conditions:
(a) for all credit card payments
(b) and up to the first S$5,000 for credit card payments made with any domestic or international Visa, MasterCard, China UnionPay or American Express Card, as long as these card types have been enabled in the Collector’s account - For credit card payment collections, the Offer is valid during the “offer period” which must occur during the “campaign period”:
(a) The “campaign period” is between 6 February and 31 January 2025, both dates inclusive
(b) The “offer period” commences forty-five (45) days from the Onboarded Date. The offer will end at 18:00:00 SGT on the forty-fifth (45th) day
(c) For the purposes of illustration: if a Collector’s account is fully verified and approved by CardUp on February 9th 2024, the Collector can redeem the offer until March 24th, 2024 - (a) there is no minimum amount per payment required within the S$5,000 limit
(b) any payments collected that exceed the S$5,000 limit are subjected to
(i) the prevailing minimum fee of S$3.40, for payments less than S$130, or the standard processing fee of 2.6%, for payments greater than S$130 for domestic credit card payments,
(ii) the prevailing minimum fee of S$3.40, for payments less than S$130, or the standard processing fee of 3.3%, for payments greater than S$130 for international credit card payments
(c) The prevailing fees can be absorbed by the Collector or passed on to the Collector’s customers (“Payors”). The Collector must indicate at account set up whether the prevailing fees are to be borne by the Collector or the Payor - this can be updated any time by contacting hello@cardup.co - The Offer is not valid for payments collected via CardUp's API
- The Offer is not valid in conjunction with any other promotions, offers, or discounts
PayNow: 0% fee for all PayNow payment collections
- CardUp users who have signed up for a business account and have never collected any payments before, or existing CardUp users who have been targeted by CardUp (“Business User”) are eligible to enjoy 0% fee for PayNow payment collections ("Offer"), in accordance with the following Terms & Conditions
- The Business User is an authorised person signing up on behalf of an active local company. A Company Registration number must be provided when setting up a business account
- The Business User must complete the CardUp Collect setup to enable payment collection via the platform ("Collector"). Once the set-up is approved, the Collector will be able to start collecting PayNow payments via the payment link provided. However, if PayNow is not enabled, the Collector must contact hello@cardup.co to enable it
- The Offer is valid on all payments collected via the Business User’s payment link between 1 January 2024 and 31 January 2025, both dates inclusive for all PayNow payments
- The Offer is not valid in conjunction with any other promotions, offers, or discounts
General Terms:
- CardUp reserves the right to terminate the Promotion, or to vary, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions from time to time at its absolute discretion (including without limitation the terms relating to the eligibility of any User and the dates of the Promotion)
- CardUp’s decision on all matters relating to this Promotion will be final, conclusive and binding on all Users, and no correspondence shall be entertained. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the Promotion, these Terms and Conditions will prevail
- CardUp, its employees and campaign organisers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or any injury that may be sustained by the User or by any person in connection with the Promotion
- The User acknowledges and agrees that the collection, use, storage and disclosure of his/her personal data shall be governed by the terms of CardUp’s Privacy Policy
- The User acknowledges and agrees that, in addition to the above-mentioned terms, they must abide by the requirements of CardUp's general Terms of Service
- "CardUp" refers to CardUp Pte Limited, a company registered in Singapore
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Singapore law and each User irrevocably submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore in respect thereof. A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these Terms and Conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap.53B) to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions
