Terms and Conditions for Income tax 2025 Bonus Offer
- Eligibility for Bonus Offer
(a) CardUp personal account holders who have successfully completed an income tax payment between 1 April and 31 August 2025, both dates inclusive ("Eligible Users"), are eligible to receive a 3-tier discounted CardUp fee on up to three (3) new recurring personal payments ("Bonus Offer").
(b) For the avoidance of doubt;
(b.i) An income tax payment shall be considered successfully completed when IRAS receives the funds.
(b.ii) "A new payment category" refers exclusively to a payment category that has not been previously scheduled on the CardUp platform. For clarity, if the selected payment type is Miscellaneous, regardless of whether you are paying a different recipient, it will be considered as one payment category
(b.iii) "Recurring payment" refers to a payment frequency that is not a one-off transaction. For clarity, if the selected payment frequency is half-yearly or yearly, only one (1) payment within that recurring series will be eligible for a discount during the Bonus Offer Period. - The Bonus Offer
(a) comprises a 3-tier discounted fee based on the ("Qualifying Sequence") as follows, and is only applicable on up to the first 3 payments of the recurring series;
(a.i) 1.83% fee on the first new recurring payment category
(a.ii) 1.79% fee on the second new recurring payment category
(a.iii) 1.75% fee on the third new recurring payment category
(b) is valid on all personal domestic payment categories set up in recurring series on or before 31 December 2025, 6pm (SGT). ("Bonus Offer Period").
(c) is valid with a Singapore-issued Visa or UnionPay card
(d) can be redeemed up to three (3) times, each on a new recurring payment category - The Eligible Users shall receive the Bonus Offer Code via registered email address on CardUp monthly by the 10th of June, July, August and September 2025, subject to when the income tax payment is completed. Should the 10th day of any aforementioned month fall on a public holiday or weekend, the Bonus Offer Code will be sent on the next business day.("Eligible Users' Email")
- Payment Set Up
(a) The payment due date must be on or before 5 January 2026 ("Last Due Date"). The payment due date is the last date the payment must arrive at the recipient. The payments must be scheduled at least 3 business days before the due date to allow processing time.
(b) The User must enter the promo code provided in the Eligible Users' email during “Schedule payment” process when setting up payment details. The discounted fee for the eligible payments will be reflected before User confirms and submits the payment.
(c) Users are not permitted to prepay or overpay the amount owed to the recipient in accordance with the payment reference documents provided. All payments are subject to be reviewed and additional documents may be requested to support the review. - Payment Review
(a) All payments are subject to review and additional documents may be requested to support the review.
(b) The User must provide all accurate references and documents to support the payment.
(c) CardUp shall not be held liable for any delays in payment processing or fee refund resulting from the User's failure to provide sufficient documentation. - The Bonus Offer is not valid:
(a) on any business payment categories, or one-off frequency on any personal payment category
(b) on payment set up after Offer Period, or have a due date beyond the Last Due Date
(c) on payments made with American Express credit cards, debit/preloaded cards and credit cards issued outside of Singapore
(e) on any additional fees incurred for Next Day payments.
(f) on any payments in foreign currencies
(g) in conjunction with any other promotions, offers or discounts. - The User will be disqualified from the Bonus Offer if any of the earlier Qualifying Sequences are cancelled or refunded without a valid reason. CardUp reserves the right, without prior notice, to suspend payments if any non-compliance with the Offer terms is identified.

Important Note
As per CardUp Terms of Service Clause 14, CardUp does not issue Payment Cards or operate a rewards programme. You are responsible for understanding the rewards programme associated with your Payment Card. We include updates on changes to card issuer reward programmes in our promotional material. We rely on the information provided to us by card issuers and make reasonable efforts to keep all such promotional marketing accurate and up to date. However, we accept no liability or responsibility for the information provided by a payment card issuer, including if it is complete, correct, and up to date, and that we have understood it correctly and completely. Always refer back to your bank/issuer card rewards eligibility and terms & conditions for the latest updates on the earn rates.
General Terms:
- CardUp reserves the right to terminate the Promotion, or to vary, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions from time to time at its absolute discretion (including without limitation the terms relating to the eligibility of any User and the dates of the Promotion).
- CardUp’s decision on all matters relating to this Promotion will be final, conclusive and binding on all Users, and no correspondence shall be entertained. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the Promotion, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.
- CardUp, its employees and campaign organisers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or any injury that may be sustained by the User or by any person in connection with the Promotion.
- The User acknowledges and agrees that the collection, use, storage and disclosure of his/her personal data shall be governed by the terms of CardUp’s Privacy Policy.
- The User acknowledges and agrees that, in addition to the above-mentioned terms, they must abide by the requirements of CardUp's general Terms of Service.
- "CardUp" refers to CardUp Pte Limited, a company registered in Singapore.
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Singapore law and each User irrevocably submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore in respect thereof. A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these Terms and Conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap.53B) to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions.
