Terms and Conditions for Promo Codes for Maybank Campaign ("Promotion")

Eligibility to utilise New User Promo Code "MB173"

  1. Maybank Platinum Visa Card ("Eligible Cards") cardholders who have signed up for a personal CardUp account ("Users") are eligible to enjoy a 1.73% fee on a personal payment. ("Offer")

  2. The Offer
    (a) may be redeemed repeatedly per User ("Redemption Cap") on any personal domestic payment type between 30 April 2024 and 1 July 2024 before 6pm (SGT), both dates inclusive ("Offer Period").
    (b) is applicable on a one-off payment OR on a recurring series that is set up within the Offer Period.
    (c) The payment due date must be on or before 4 July 2024.  The payment due date is the last date on which the payment must arrive at the recipient.
    (d) The payments must be scheduled at least 3 business days in advance of the due date to allow for processing time. 

  3. To enjoy the Offer, Users have to enter the promo code MB173 during the “Schedule payment” process when setting up payment details with the Eligible Cards. The 1.73% CardUp fee for the eligible payment will be reflected before the User confirms and submits payment. 

  4. Users are not permitted to prepay or overpay the amount owed to the recipient in accordance with the payment reference documents provided. All payments are subject to be reviewed and additional documents may be requested to support the review.
  5. Users who redeem the Offer agree that CardUp and Maybank have the right to exchange details relating to you, including your card account and transaction details, for the purpose of determining your eligibility to qualify for the Offer.

  6. The Offer is not valid : 
    (a) on payments made with Maybank Cards not included in this campaign and Maybank Cards issued outside of Singapore.
    (c) with debit/preloaded cards
    (d) on any additional fees incurred for Next Day payments.
    (e) on any payments in foreign currency
    (f) in conjunction with any other promotions, offers or discounts.

General Terms:

  1. CardUp reserves the right to terminate the Promotion, or to vary, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions from time to time at its absolute discretion (including without limitation the terms relating to the eligibility of any User and the dates of the Promotion).

  2.  CardUp’s decision on all matters relating to this Promotion will be final, conclusive and binding on all Users, and no correspondence shall be entertained. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the Promotion, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.

  3. CardUp, its employees and campaign organisers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or any injury that may be sustained by the User or by any person in connection with the Promotion.

  4. The User acknowledges and agrees that the collection, use, storage and disclosure of his/her personal data shall be governed by the terms of CardUp’s Privacy Policy.

  5. The User acknowledges and agrees that, in addition to the above-mentioned terms, they must abide by the requirements of CardUp's general Terms of Service. 
  6. "CardUp" refers to CardUp Pte Limited, a company registered in Singapore.

  7. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Singapore law and each User irrevocably submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore in respect thereof. A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these Terms and Conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap.53B) to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions.
