Terms and Conditions for 2023 Referral Promotion
Eligibility and Terms to participate for the Referrers
- CardUp users who have signed up for a CardUp account with at least 1 transaction successfully completed ("Referrers") and introduced new users (“Referees”) to CardUp via the CardUp Referral Program are eligible to participate in the CardUp Referral Cash Out Campaign ("Referral Promotion") between 7 September and 31 October 2023 ("Promotion Period"), both dates inclusive, in accordance with the following Terms and Conditions.
- The CardUp's Referral Program standard terms and conditions ("Referral Terms") apply.
Successful Referral - For every Successful Referral, as defined in the Referral Terms, the Referrer will receive the Successful Referral Code(s) 'THANKYOU', which is worth S$30 CardUp credits for every new personal user referred, or "THANKBIZ', which is worth S$200 CardUp credits for every business user referred, in their CardUp account.
- A successful referral is one where (“Successful Referral”):
- The Referee’s first payment is completed between 13 September 2023 and 31 October 2023, both dates inclusive, using the Referrer’s referral code.
- The Referee’s first payment must be scheduled on or before 26 October 2023, at least 3 business days prior to the last due date of 31 October 2023, to allow for processing time.
- A payment is deemed as completed when the payment on the Referee’s dashboard shows with status as “Complete”.
- The Referee's payment fulfilled the condition of the Referral Term.
- Referrers may track the status of their Successful Referrals in the “Refer & Save” section of their Account after logging into CardUp.
Referrer Cash Out Option - The Referrer may request to cash out the Successful Referral Code(s) based on:
(a) 'THANKYOU' code S$30 CardUp credits to S$20 cash, or 'THANKBIZ' code S$200 CardUp credits to S$150 cash. The balance of S$10/S$50 credits will be forfeited once converted to cash value.
(b) The CardUp credits can be accumulated for cash out as long as they are issued between 13 September 2023 and 31 October 2023, both dates inclusive, and are of "active" status.
(c) Successful Referral Code(s) are invalid to cash out if the status is any of Pending, Expired, Redeemed, Cancelled, or Inactive. Attempting to use the Successful Referral Code may alter the status. - The Referrer will need to submit a cash-out request on this Referral Promotion: Cash Out Request page
(a) Cash-out requests will only be reviewed on the 15th day of October and November 2023 ("Review Dates"). Should your request be submitted after the Review Dates, it will be rolled over to the following month.
(b) Any request submitted after 15 November 2023 will not be accepted.
(c) Your selected Successful Referral Code status will become 'Redeemed' once your request is being processed.
(d) The payment will then be payout to your bank account within the next 30 days. - Referrers under the Corporate Referral Program (CRP) who refer the same Referee via CRP and Invite Promo Code, shall not be entitled to receive any incentives under the CRP for that referral.
- CardUp reserves the right to the final decision regarding the Referral Promotion, including eligibility of and payouts for all referrals.
Eligibility and Terms to participate for Referees

CardUp users who have completed their first payment with a CardUp Referral Program referral code ("Eligible First Payment") between 13 September 2023 and 31 October 2023, both dates inclusive ("Eligible Users") are eligible to enjoy a bonus offer, in accordance with its respective terms and conditions.
- The Eligible First Payment must be scheduled on or before 26 October 2023, at least 3 business days prior to the last due date of 31 October 2023, to allow for processing time.

Eligible Users will receive the 1.6% fee promo code, to be used with a locally-issued Visa card ("Bonus Offer"), via their registered email address in the following month.
(a) In avoid of doubt, if the first payment is completed by 30 September 2023, the bonus code will be issued on the first week of October. If the first payment is completed by 31 October 2023, the bonus code will be issued on the first week of November. - The Bonus Offer is only applicable on up to S$2,000 for a personal payment if Eligible Users have a personal account, and S$7,000 for a business payment if Eligible Users have a business account.
- Validity of the Bonus Offer
(a) If the Bonus Offer is issued in October, it will only be valid until 31 October 2023, 6pm, at least 3 business days prior to the last due date of 3 November 2023, to allow for processing time.
(b) If the Bonus Offer is issued in November, it will only valid until 30 November 2023, 6pm, at least 3 business days prior the last due date of 5 December, to allow for processing time. - To enjoy the Bonus Offer, Eligible Users have to enter the promo code provided in their email during the “Schedule payment” process when setting up payment details. The discounted CardUp fee for the payment amount will be reflected before User confirms and submits payment.
- The Bonus Offer can only be redeemed once per Eligible User.
- All payments are subject to be reviewed and additional documents may be requested to support the review.
- The Bonus Offer is not applicable for use:
(a) with non-Visa cards.
(b) on payments made with credit cards issued outside of Singapore.
(c) any additional fees incurred for Next Day payments.
(c) in conjunction with any other promotions, offers or discounts.
General Terms:
- CardUp reserves the right to terminate the Promotion, or to vary, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions from time to time at its absolute discretion (including without limitation the terms relating to the eligibility of any User and the dates of the Promotion).
- CardUp’s decision on all matters relating to this Promotion will be final, conclusive and binding on all Users, and no correspondence shall be entertained. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the Promotion, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.
- CardUp, its employees and campaign organisers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or any injury that may be sustained by the User or by any person in connection with the Promotion.
- The User acknowledges and agrees that the collection, use, storage and disclosure of his/her personal data shall be governed by the terms of CardUp’s Privacy Policy.
- The User acknowledges and agrees that, in addition to the above-mentioned terms, they must abide by the requirements of CardUp's general Terms of Service.
- "CardUp" refers to CardUp Pte Limited, a company registered in Singapore.
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Singapore law and each User irrevocably submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore in respect thereof. A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these Terms and Conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap.53B) to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions.
