Terms and Conditions: Referral Program
Eligibility to participate
User Eligibility
1. Existing CardUp users with at least one completed transaction ("Referrers") may participate in the CardUp Referral Program ("Promotion") till 31 December 2026 ("Promo End Date"). Referrers can introduce new users ("Referees") via https://cardup.co.
CardUp Credits
2. The Promotion of 1.79% CardUp fee, up to S$5000/S$10,000, may be referred to as "CardUp credits” in these terms and other communications.
Definition of Successful Referral
3. A Successful Referral occurs when:
(a) The Referee creates a Personal or Business account on CardUp.
(b) The email used by the Referee is valid and unique.
(c) For Business Users, an authorised individual must sign up for an active company registered with ACRA, providing a valid UEN/Business Registration number.
(d) The Referee completes their first payment using the Referrer’s Invite Promo Code, which is confirmed as "Complete" on the dashboard.
Account Limitations
4. Only one CardUp account is permitted per mobile number.
5. The referral code ("Invite Promo Code") is exclusively for new Referees without existing accounts, applicable only on the first-ever payment with a credit card that has not been used on CardUp before.
6. The Invite Promo Code excludes additional fees for Next Day payments.
Redemption Limits
7. Each Referrer can
(a) Refer a maximum of 50 Referees using the Invite Promo Code. Once this limit is reached, further attempts will be invalidated.
(b) Receive a success referral code upon every Sucessful Referral ("Success Referral Promo Code") that will be reflected in the Referrer CardUp account, 'Refer & Save' section.
9. Both the Invite Promo Code and the Success Referral Promo Code can be applied to payments with no minimum amount required.
Terms of use for Referees
- The Invite Promo Code can only be used once on the first domestic or international payment at a discounted fee of 1.79%.
(a) up to at S$5,000 for personal payment and S$10,000 for business payment. ("Referee Discount”) - To enjoy the Referee Discount, the Invite Promo Code must be applied during the“schedule payment” process on or before the Promo End Date.
- The Referee Discount is applied to the CardUp fee displayed at the time of payment setup, subject to the prevailing CardUp fees (2.6% for domestic cards, 3.3% for international cards) on the remaining amount, if applicable.
- Any unused portion of the CardUp Credit will not be refunded or carried over to the next payment. Prevailing fee of 2.6% applies for amount exceeding the Referrer Discount limit
Terms of use for Referrers
- Referrers will receive the Referral Success Promo Codes as reflected in the CardUp account "Refer & Save" section (“Referrer Discount”)
- 1.79% fee up to S$5,000 for each successful Personal User referred
- 1.79% fee up to S$10,000 for each successful Business User referred
- The Referral Success Promo Codes (a) expire 90 days from the issue date - as reflected on the "Refer & Save" dashboard within the CardUp Account.
(b) cannot be stacked; only one code is applicable per payment.
(b) is subject to the prevailing CardUp fees (2.6% for domestic cards, 3.3% for international cards) on the remaining amount, where applicable. - Any unused portion of the CardUp Credit will not be refunded or carried over to the next payment. - Referrers can track Successful Referrals and Referral Success Promo Codes usage in the “Refer & Save” section of their CardUp account.
- Referrers under the Partner Referral Program (PRP) cannot receive incentives for referring the same Referee via both PRP and Invite Promo Code.
- CardUp reserves the right to void credits awarded if both Referrer and Referee use each other's referral codes during their first payment.
General Terms:

CardUp shall be entitled to withdraw or substitute the CardUp credit with items or rewards of similar value at its sole discretion without prior notice and without giving any reason for the same.

CardUp reserves the right to terminate the Promotion, or to vary, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions from time to time at its absolute discretion (including without limitation the terms relating to the eligibility of any Participant and the dates of the Promotion).

CardUp’s decision on all matters relating to this Promotion will be final, conclusive and binding on all Participants, and no correspondence shall be entertained. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the Promotion, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.

CardUp, its employees and campaign organisers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or any injury that may be sustained by the Participant or by any person in connection with the Promotion. Without limiting the foregoing, CardUp is not responsible for the loss of any Promotional Gift for which the Referrer is eligible.

The Participant acknowledges and agrees that the collection, use, storage and disclosure of his/her personal data shall be governed by the terms of CardUp’s Privacy Policy. The Participant shall be responsible for obtaining, and warrants that it has obtained, the consent of the Referee(s) for the provision of the Referee(s) personal data to CardUp, and to the collection, use and storage of such personal data in accordance with CardUp’s Privacy Policy. CardUp may inform the Referee(s) that the Referee’s/Referees’ personal data is collected from the Participant.

The Participant acknowledges and agrees that, in addition to the above-mentioned terms, they must abide by the requirements of CardUp’s general Terms of Service.

"CardUp" refers to CardUp Pte Limited, a company registered in Singapore.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Singapore law and each Participant irrevocably submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore in respect thereof. A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these Terms and Conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap.53B) to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions.
